Leilanie Tacaca

Certified Medical Assistant

Leilanie, although her name is Hawaiian, she was born and raised in Anchorage. She also got to enjoy living in the Philippines for three years and graduated high school at the age of 15. She knew early on that she wanted to work in the medical field.

After working as a Front Desk Receptionist at an OBGYN office for several years, she decided to go back to school. She graduated from Charter College the summer of 2016 and obtained her certificate as a National Certified Medical Assistant. She completed her 180 hours externship through Providence Family Medicine Center. Ever since then, she has enjoyed working with patients.

She and her significant other, Merlo, have a son together named, Cason, who has been a bundle of joy to have. Other than her family members being across the country, most of her family live in Alaska. She has always been close with her cousins and considers them as her best friends. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking new things, baking, lifting weights and spending time with her family.
