Brenna Linford, RN
Brenna was born and raised in Anchorage (as were both of her parents and all her aunts and uncles) where she lives with her two daughters and tiny, sassy dog. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing at Seattle University before moving back to Alaska to be closer to her family. Brenna worked in Women’s Health and Maternal Newborn care for 15 years before heading back to school at UAA for her Nursing Degree. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery before switching over to Gyn Onc at Alaska Women’s Cancer Care. Brenna walked alongside her mother and grandmother as they each battled different cancers and has been heavily involved in fundraising for a cure of blood cancers and aiding in raising money for supporting trials and experimental treatments since 2006. Brenna is excited and passionate about working in a field so close to her heart.
When Brenna isn’t at work, she helps run her local family-owned wholesale food business that she and her siblings and all their children own together. She also enjoys skiing and playing outside with her kids, partner, and mom, as well as spending time with her siblings and their families, sleeping in, camping, travelling, and vegging out by the fire with a great book or a good movie.
