Bethany Myers, PA-C, MPAS
Bethany Myers is a Physician Assistant that joined Alaska Women’s Cancer Care in May of 2018.
She graduated summa cum laude in athletic training from Whitworth College while also obtaining minors in biology and accounting. She then obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Utah.
Growing up in Alaska and graduating from Chugiak High School, Bethany has always had an interest in medicine. She worked as a certified athletic trainer for 7 years prior to going to PA school.
After being a PA she worked in Gynecologic Oncology in Salt Lake City for 3 years, assisting with robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical cases, as well as in the clinic. To be closer to family, she and her husband moved to Alaska in 2013 and she worked upper extremity orthopedics for 5 years. Bethany now helps Dr. Hope and Dr. Hardesty primarily in clinic while also working in neurosurgery at Alaska Regional Hospital.
Bethany loves playing outdoors with her husband, two kids and dog. They enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain and road biking, and traveling. She savors reading books and long walks on the beach.
