Amanda "Rae" Wholly is a Board-Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She has broad experience in general and specialty care. Rae joined the AKWCC team in July of 2023.

Rae is a veteran of the United States Air Force. She retired from active duty in 2023 after more than 25 years of service. Rae joined as an Aerospace Medicine Technician. She worked her way up from the lowest enlisted rank, fighting to earn a commission and ultimately achieving the rank of Major.

Rae earned her Bachelor in the Science of Nursing through University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2010 and her Masters in the Science of Nursing Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University in 2015.

In her time as a provider, Rae has served in a variety of roles from leading the Women's Health Clinic at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona to Cervical Dysplasia Manager for eight geographically-separated units and sixty four primary care providers across Europe and Africa.

Rae and her family chose to come back to Alaska because she loves being in the mountains. She is an avid hiker, kayaker, and quilter. She also loves to read and spends a lot of time listening to books while she quilts.
