Kim Blocker is a Registered Nurse originally from southern Georgia. She brings over 25 years of experience in the health care arena.
Kim's primary background is Emergency Nursing. In 1997, she came to Alaska as a travel nurse, where she served the community of Nome Alaska. In 2000, she and her husband moved to Anchorage where they continue to live. Kim's passion and gift is in helping others physically, emotionally and spiritually. In addition to Emergency Medicine, Kim has experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular, Hospice and Vascular Access with a focus on PICC placement. She also served the Alaska community in the role of Case Manager for Life Alaska Donor Services.
She is a nature lover and enjoys sharing this passion with her husband and grandchildren. She loves hiking, kayaking and canoeing and chasing the Northern Lights with her husband.
