Gwendolyn “g” Carlson

Gwendolyn believes in building lasting and trusting relationships with all her patients.  She is available to them and attempts to return every call before close of business each day.

Gwendolyn worked as a Community Health Practitioner in a rural Alaskan village for several years before enrolling in a Nursing program in West Virginia.  When she graduated she immediately went into hospital floor nursing at the Alaska Native Medical Center on the Labor and Delivery Unit.

Gwendolyn drifted into GYN Oncology Case Management at Alaska Native Medical Center where she says she has never worked a day since.

She now has taken the position of Clinical Nurse Manager with Alaska Women’s Cancer Care,  striving to ensure that every patient will be given the care and respect that we all deserve.

Interests

Gwendolyn enjoys fishing, piano, violin, reading, and vacationing with her grandchildren who allow her to be young without looking foolish.
